The End of an Era – Ilmor 725

The Goldfish Team has known about it for some time and it haven’t been a secret, but now its official. Ilmor Engineering has canceled the production line of MV10 725 Indy.

725 Indy has powered many of  the fastest boats in the Goldfish History. MV10 powered both 36 and 38 SuperSport over 100 knots and 29 RIB Tender reached amazingly 82 knots. Living with an Imor isn’t always easy, but for us its been the hardcore racing alternative for a decade…

Quote from Ilmor:
“We are currently limiting new production of the MV10 engines and INDY Stern Drive systems. However, parts, service, support and warranty coverage will continue to all existing customers.”

While waiting for news from the engineers at Ilmor we at Goldfish HQ are working on something else to bring our 38 SuperSport close to the 100 knots limit. You’ll be the first to know when we have something ready…
