23 feet boats aren’t usually built in vacuum infused Vinylester and high density Divinycell core. So why do we bother? The 23 Tender is designed to cut through waves at high speed, and both its construction and materials must absorb and withstand the energy of those repeated impacts. This is only achievable with the finest materials, evolving know-how and state-of-the-art techniques. By adopting this approach we secure maximum rigidity and a high quality ride, year after year.
The 23 Tender has unparalleled sea keeping capability for its size. This 7.5m boat will allow you to maintain planning speed up to and in Sea State 3, with more than one metre significant wave height. If conditions get even rougher, the lack of planning threshold is a key benefit, allowing you to continue home safely at a good rate of knots.
The boat features matching anodised lifting points, ensuring a hassle-free lift out of the water. This eliminates the room for error relating to the use of conventional slings below the hull when the boat goes into storage, or during mid-season cleaning, and makes the boat ‘tender ready’.
With the heavy duty D-fender and the replaceable bow, your boat is pre-protected for all docking and disembarking activity. Less worries for the captain and reduced risk of damage for the owner.
An optimum angle of attack and low vertical pitching ensures extreme sea keeping, while the minimum hydrodynamic drag optimises hull-efficiency – producing fuel savings of 25-30% compared to a well-designed traditional V-shaped bottom. The harmonised balance, weight and design eliminate planning threshold, giving the 23 Tender a peerless cruising capability and superior top speed potential.
The immersed cockpit design allows us to create an open boat with an extremely low centre of gravity. By forcing weight down in the boat, we gain balance, stability and safety. Not only will all passengers enjoy stable movement around the craft, but more importantly the driver will have an easier job keeping the hull in balance in the rough. The immersed cockpit floor also reduces turbulence around the helm and optimises the driver’s position, without the need for a dominant console. It’s a design that ticks all the boxes, providing comfort, safety and aesthetical satisfaction.
