About the course
Goldfish High-Speed Course
Get your Norwegian High-Speed Certificate
The course will prepare and instruct you on everything you need to know to pass the exam and be safe on the water. Starting in June 2023, the government will require high-speed licenses for drivers of recreational boats that reach speeds above 50 knots. Because of this, our goal is to make the best course available and invite you for a full day of fun and knowledge this summer.
A varied program
You can expect the opportunity to explore some of our boat models, meet Goldfish representatives, and enjoy excellent food. The main objective of the course is to prepare you for the exam, but we also plan to have some fun with our boats during the day. The course will be held in Norwegian, and consists of a mandatory theoretical course, followed by a practical course out in the water.
Instructor for the course
Responsible course provider: RSS (Sjøredningsskolen) approved by SDIR (Sjøfartsdirektoratet).
Approved instructor: Pål Virik Nilsen is a former world champion in powerboat racing and runs speed training for both private individuals and professionals.
During the practical part of the course you will be driving a Goldfish 28 Tender powered by Twin 300hp Mercury engines.
