Take part in the 2018 Goldfish Rally

Following the success of our Rally in 2017 we decided to organize a similar event for 2018. This year’s Rally takes place on June 8th to 12th. Join us for an unforgettable adventure on the mediterranean sea!

If you have never cruised in the company of other boats then you are in for a real treat. This trip gives you an opportunity to meet like-minded Goldfish-owners while enjoying one of the world’s most stunning coastlines.

This year’s agenda is similar to that of last year, but we will stop at a couple of new location and visit some new hotels.

Day 1: Pre Meet – Friday, June 8th

We plan to meet up in Cannes june 8th where we will invite everyone for dinner in Canne at the Yacht Club.

Day 2: The Crossing – Saturday, June 9th

We depart from Port Canto at 7am, heading for Scandola, Corsica.

Scandola is a World UNESCO reserve. It is beautiful and wild with red volcanic cliffs and crystal waters.

We should arrive in time for a swim and then lunch at Le Bon Espore in Girolata Bay, which is sheltered and only accessible by boat.

We then head on further South, where we will pass Ajjacio and pull into Golfe-de Valinco. We plan on stopping on the Northern edge of the Golfe in a small Port called Porto Pollo.

Day 3: Cruising day – Sunday, June 10th

We depart at 10 AM and cruise for about an hour (30 NM), exploring the beautiful Corsican coastline to Mortoli.

The area is famous for it’s amazing villas and hotels. There are beautiful beaches along the route and we will also pass the stunning cliffs which protect Bonifacio.

Day 4: Final Cruising day – Monday, June 11th

The final day of exploring will take us further along the coast to Porto-Vecchio, another 25 NM on from Bonifacio. There are even more islands to explore en route and some very unique deserted spots.

After a whistle stop tour of Porto-Vecchio we shall head back to Santa Giulia Bay for the final night.

Day 5: Return crossing – Tuesday, June 12th

We’ll have an early start, heading back to Cannes. We will probably have a final re-fuel in Ajaccio and then head back to mainland.
